The plinth for the original TT4 was in fact the first turntable in our Edwards Audio range to use a layered acrylic construction and we can find no cost effective way to better its performance, so it remains the basis of the new TT4 Carbon.
However you will see that the new TT4 Carbon turntable also benefits from an 18mm brass bearing housing, a ceramic thrust bearing, an acetal hub, a choice of a 10mm or 18mm machined platter, and a clear z-type dust cover. For further improvement, the TT4 Carbon is now fitted with TALK’s A4 model 12mm carbon fibre uni-pivot tonearm which has VTA adjustment, greatly improving the performance of an already exceptionally good sounding turntable.
The only thing left to for you to decide is what cartridge you would like your new Edwards Audio TT4 turntable to be fitted with. Remember, if you need a phono stage or would like a speed controller for your turntable, these can be colour matched to your turntable. Some customers may wish to fly the British flag with a ‘red’ amplifier, ‘white’ phono stage and this ‘blue’ turntable as pictured.
